The Ulimate Tailgate Grill – Davy Crockett
You may power your grill several distinct ways: 1) connect one end of the automobile adapter (A) into the back the grill and the other into a car or truck’s lighter/cell phone port; OR 2) connect A and B, and plug the adapter end into the back the grill and attach the alligator clips to a 12-volt electric battery (red to positive, back to negative); OR 3) plug C into D and A into D and plug C into a 110-volt wall outlet and the adapter (A) into the back the grill. Be sure to open up the rain cap.
KICKING OFF THE GRILL
To start the grill, just push “POWER.”. The grill will steadily cycle through 0-1-2-3. The second it shows a temperature, you may use the up button to choose one other than the default of 150°. You can adjust from 150° – 550°.
Control your grill’s temperature from 150° -550° F (66° – 260° C) in 5° increments. From smoke to SEAR, you will have unequaled accuracy and precision, winter months or summer months.
Put the probe into the jack on the controller, put it through the access hole in the side of the grill, and insert in to the meat. Press the “Food” button on the controller, and it will quickly display the interior temperature level of the meat you’re cooking.
With a 219 square inch Cooking surface the Davy Crockett’s firebox has vertical grooves cut evenly on its sides so that the air “tornadoes” all around the fire and gives much more complete combustion thanks to enhanced air circumvolution. This “cyclone” effect means more efficient pellet usage.
Keep a constant internal temperature level year round with a Green Mountain Grill. Your grill will come outfitted with an interior thermal sensor that controls the temperature level by calibrating air and pellet flow to maintain a constant internal temp. That’s 365 days of grilling!
